Interview Techniques? Try PwC`s free new interview e-learn !!!

As a major employer of school and college leavers, undergraduates and graduates, we have an important role in helping to prepare students for the marketplace, which is why we’ve designed a new interview e-learn to add to our employability suite.

This new development is aligned to our long standing focus on employability and enables us to replicate the high quality training that we provide to our own people.

Our e-learn is designed to better prepare students for :

-         what an interview actually is,

-         help them to understand the different interview formats,

-         provide tips on how they should prepare themselves, and also

-         uses examples for them to consider.

It will allow us to broaden our reach to help develop employability skills throughout schools, colleges and universities across the UK.

The e-learn has been designed primarily with the candidate in mind and the journey they’ll go on when preparing to sell themselves during an interview.

This e-learn can be used in the classroom to support and deliver interview skills training or simply as a preparation tool for a student in their own time.

We feel passionate about getting the best out of people and helping to provide students with the toolkit they’ll need to develop their skills and their personal brand.

We hope you will find the e-learn useful, there’s no other free tool like it currently in the marketplace.

"The e-learn will provide support when preparing for competency based job interviews for all sectors and the format means that this information is accessible to all students and careers advisors. We see this as a real positive step in supporting the development of employability skills amongst school, college and university students."

Reminder:

Harvard Referencing Lecture:

WEDS 26th FEBRUARY - 1PM   ROOM 3.03

As you will know, poor referencing and citing is a common reason for an essay grade to drop an entire class, or sometimes even to be graded as a fail.

In order to ensure your grades are not reduced simply through poor referencing, a brief lecture will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday the 26th of February in which the Harvard system of referencing, which is required in all essays and associated coursework, will be explained.
To ensure you do not lose marks because of poor referencing, please make every effort to attend in room 3:03 at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 26th of February!
