Overview
We have a part time position (16 hours a week, Monday – Friday) available within our Commercial Team. The role entails maintaining and adding value to the PlaceDashboard retail and leisure database and would suit someone who is self-motivated and willing to gain experience and further their own knowledge.
Working with one of our Founding Directors this role is critically important to maintaining the rapid growth of our business.

The Role
The role entails updating our location database of retailers, shopping centres and retail parks in the UK by undertaking online research, address list building and digital fence creation using our proprietary software. You will be required to work at our offices situated in the fantastic Bright Building located on the Manchester Science Park (opposite the University of Manchester Library).

The Work
You will be supplied with a list of retail locations or retailers which need their address, description and digital geo coordinates being researched online, entered into the PlaceDashboard database and the digital fence drawn around the retail asset.
You will also be supplied with the necessary hardware and software, and receive full training in how to use it.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Fantastic online research skills and excellent attention to detail. An inquisitive mind, diligence and self determination are important assets to have for this role
Previous knowledge of Excel, search engines and online maps is very important, although full training on our bespoke software will be provided.
The successful candidate must have proven written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills and a track record of achieving individual targets. Keen attention to detail and a high level of personal planning, organisation and initiative are also key for this role.

You will be paid £8.00 per hour
