Wondering whether a career as an accountant is still the one for you?

Wondering whether a career as an accountant is still the one for you?

Ever considered a career in the broader financial services sector, say, in banking, finance, investment, financial planning ?

I held a meeting in March to explain the opportunities and implications of switching to Year 2 of the Banking & Finance degree for Year 1 A&F students who had expressed interest in finding out more about alternative careers in the broader financial services sector.

Several students attended the meeting, but many more were unable to attend, so I have booked a room, 3.08 NBS, on WEDNESDAY 22nd APRIL to run through the BA (Hons) Banking & Finance programme and to explain the career paths that such a switch might open up for you.

Approximately 20 A&F students switched programme last year and feedback to date suggests they are very happy with their decision.

Please email me (t.williamson@mmu.ac.uk) to let me know you if you intend to come along to the meeting on the 22nd.

Best wishes with your revision in the meantime !
