Fao ECONOMETRICS LEVEL 6 STUDENTS - Opportunities for Recent Graduates

Following the establishment of the ONS’ Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence and the ESRC Rebuilding Macroeconomics Network at the Institute, we are now building our capacity to offer temporary posts to recent graduates.
First, we are advertising for a number of research intern posts this summer for a number of recent graduates to join the Institute on a fixed term basis of 4-6 months.
Recent interns have gone on to secure permanent jobs in the Government or paid PhD placements. The deadline for applications is 21st June:

It’s important that you are ambitious, able to work within a team, build an effective relationship with our outsourced accounting provider to ensure the numbers add up.

An understanding of controls in a hotel environment, numerate with good excel skills alongside experience in accounting is a must but qualified is a nice to have.

Key Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant:

• Assists with Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Cashiering; Income Audit; Internal Audit; Month End Closing, and; Payroll
• Upholds a high level of regular, frequent, accurate and timely communication to all related departments regarding the Accounts function within the hotel

Requirements of Accounts Assistant:

• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment
• Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities
• Attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience of using Opera Property Management System and Sales & Catering is advantageous
