Scottish Weekender 2016!
19th– 21st February 2016
Why you should book your place on the Scottish Weekender 2016…

Last week we spoke to Beth Brooke, a member of the AFE society who went on the city break to Amsterdam back in 2015. Beth tells us why she made that decision to go last year, and why you should book yourself onto this years  #ScottishWeekender2016!
Beth chose to go on this trip because she wanted to form new friendships within the faculty and had always wanted to visit Amsterdam; “It allowed students to get to know one another within the AFE faculty, whilst being able to experience the cultural and social aspects of an exciting city”.  She describes the highlight of her trip as, “going to the Amsterdam, Ice Bar. It was a great way to socialise - despite feeling like I was in a freezer the entire night!” The other highlights of the trip included visiting Anne Franks house.
This year the AFE society have decided to go to Edinburgh, a vibrant city that offers opportunities for everyone as there are plenty of things to do! Whether you want a weekend of sight-seeing, exploring the city or just partying- there really is something for everyone.
So if you want the chance to meet other people in your department at a weekend away in an amazing city with lots to experience, then make sure you book your place on to the Scottish Weekender 2016 with Citybreaks by Outgoing!  Beth’s top tip for all you students is, “to book on early because places go really fast and you don’t want to be disappointed!”
So with that in mind, we hope you’re all ready for the #ScottishWeekender2016!!
