The Cooperative Bank IT Graduate Scheme 2015 - Information

The Cooperative Bank
IT Graduate Scheme 2015

I would like to give you a little more information regarding out IT scheme, as we are looking to target students at your university, specifically your Business schools, Physics and Maths courses.

We are trying to widen the pool of students applying for this stream and students studying in any of these areas should be competent with a range of IT systems and languages.

'Our Information Technology Leadership Programme attracts motivated, high-potential graduates and offers them the opportunity to forge a career in IT in the world of financial services. Throughout the programme you will have access to a wide range of support including a mentor, sponsorship from senior leaders, access to IT industry experts and a personal development plan to drive your career.

With a small intake of graduates, we are able to offer a programme that puts you at the heart of everything we do and allows you to be in control.  You could become a manager or team leader in our Security, Architecture or Service Management practices.

You can also hone your skills as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, or become a specialist in Digital Technology and help to drive the Bank’s IT Strategy.

The programme is based on a series of rotations across each area of our IT organisation where you will learn how we deliver, manage and govern large-scale IT projects.

You will also gain an insight into how we run and secure the Bank’s IT estate. You will deliver value from day 1 and we will support you by drawing together and facilitating your learning, whether it be via studying for formal ISEB qualifications, development of leadership skills or providing exposure to the latest tech trends in retail banking.

We are looking for people who are :

numerate
analytical thinkers and
are passionate about technology.

In return, we will provide you with a broad range of experiences, skills and exposure to a variety of potential career routes, whether it be as a future IT leader or a technical subject matter expert.'

Kind regards

Virgin Media Brand Ambassadors Scheme
This is now the fourth year of the Virgin Media Brand Ambassadors scheme and several 'graduates' have gone on to enter Virgin Media's full graduate programme as well as earning the Certificate of On-Campus Marketing.

Pitch to Rich

Students would represent Virgin Media in and around campus, raising awareness of the brand amongst their peers.

The most successful campaign, be it the most innovative or entrepreneurial, will get to attend the "Pitch to Rich" scheme,

where they will meet Richard Branson at his house in May.

There is a competitive pay scale, full training at VM's headquarters and many other incentives including VIP V Fest tickets.

The hours are flexible and no more than 20 hours per week.
