GRADUATE TO WORK WEEK - 1 - 5th June

Whether you are confident about your career goals or graduating with no idea what to do next, take action to enhance your career prospects and explore your options.

MMU Careers & Employability are running a week full of workshops, employer networking events and expert advice sessions at the Business School from 1 -5 June, all aimed at helping you to prepare for life after graduation and boost your career.

There is something for everyone, register to:

Meet employers offering graduate jobs and internships at our networking cafes

Learn how to sell yourself to employers, from winning CVs and social media through to impressing at interview

Explore the options available to you after graduation, including starting your own business and further study

If you are taking part in MMU Futures a number of the sessions running, including Work Ready, are core elements of the award so this is a great opportunity to collect points. Cheshire students - you can claim travel expenses back for those sessions which qualify for MMU Futures points providing you are registered for the award.

As a Book keeper you will be responsible for assisting in the management of our Accounts.

MMU FUTURES EVENTS - Come and try something new

Make the most of your summer !

The MMU Futures Summer Events Festival begins after exams, running from 18th May – 25th June.

· Final Year – A host of enjoyable free workshops that are guaranteed to make graduate employers choose you!

· Second year - Free workshops offering you invaluable experiences & opportunities!

· First Year – A host of free, fun & engaging workshops, from language learning to crime scene investigation!

Taking part in these activities are THE way to improve your skills and experiences, to learn something totally new and interesting, to meet new people and to just have some fun! With everything from language learning to leadership training, sustainability events including upcycling & a trip to the incredible Biospheric Project, business and enterprise bootcamps, specialised computer workshops (including programing, 3D stereoscopic film and worldwide recognised Microsoft certifications) and Science and Engineering tasters for all such as CSI Crime Scene, Robot Wars and making jelly babies cry, there is something for everyone!

What’s more, all workshops are completely free and you’ll get awarded points towards the MMU Futures Award for taking part!!
