Location
This
is a regional role based from either Capita’s Salford or Blackburn offices, but
this is flexible. However travelling may be required to other Capita offices around the region,
including; Manchester, Blackburn, North Tyneside, Colwyn Bay as and when required.

Role and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role are to
support the business development
team across the following areas:

Generally
Support the business development team across
major bids and work winning opportunities
Generate bespoke professional fee proposals
Check the quality and
completeness of professional fee proposals prior to submission
against agreed norms, where appropriate recommending improvement to such norms

Business development / bidding for work Provide
commercial support to local management teams during
periods of commercial improvement / change

Ensure the correct level of Collateral
Warranty, Professional Indemnity etc relating
to individual consultancy contracts is negotiated

Ownership and management of Capita’s commercial and legal
sign off procedures
Undertake regular training to satisfy
personal development criteria; including
regular refresher training on contract drafting, changes in relevant legislation and Capita

Identify areas for commercial improvement in the delivery
of projects / contracts
Investigate individual “ad hoc” commercial /
financial problems and undertake analysis
