Job Description: | 
The scheme
  is a structured two-year programme at the end of which graduate trainees will
  be highly skilled paraplanners, carrying out detailed technical research and
  devising innovative financial planning solutions for Clarion’s demanding
  clientele of high-net-worth business owners. They will also be supported as they
  study toward the gold-standard Certified Financial Planner qualification
  awarded by the Institute of Financial Planning, an accreditation they will be
  expected to achieve during the course of the programme. 
Graduate
  trainee paraplanners at Clarion Wealth planning will contribute to the
  financial planning process from day one. Initially providing administrative
  support, and dealing with clients and product providers from an early stage,
  they will receive continuous training to enable them quickly to play a full
  role in the paraplanning team. 
Upon
  completion of the programme trainees will be fully qualified, first-class
  paraplanners, with the solid grounding they will require whether they choose
  ultimately to continue down the technical route or to pursue careers in
  fields such as advice or compliance.  |

Person Specification: | 
Qualifications and skills

  BA Hons Banking and Finance,
  including personal financial planning and investment electives, class 2.1 or
  above 
·        
  Strong analytical abilities 
·        
  Comfortable interrogating and
  manipulating data

  Understanding of the principles of
  investment and risk 
·        
  Excellent written English
