CAREERS & EMPLOYABILITY EVENTS - Sept 2015

#AskMMUCareers
I am pleased to announce that we will be launching our #AskMMUCareers Twitter sessions this week.

These will be weekly sessions, every Friday 2pm-3pm, where we will share resources, top tips, vacancies and invite students to ask any questions they may have around specific
careers and employability related themes which will be different each week.

It would be fantastic if you could help to share/favourite our promotional tweets, and also get involved by sharing any of your top tips or useful resources using the #AskMMUCareers hashtag.
The first twitter session will take place on Friday 18th September and will focus on the theme of finding part time work, where we will be promoting our upcoming Part Time Jobs Fair and new online job vacancy/events system to as many of our new and returning students as possible.

Part Time Jobs Fair
Our Part time Jobs Fair will take place on Thursday 24th September in Manchester and Wednesday 23rd September in Cheshire www.mmu.ac.uk/jobsfair.

The fair will be a great opportunity for our students to meet with employers and potentially secure paid employment alongside their studies, so please help us to promote these wherever you can!

We have posters and postcards that we will be bringing around to the Student Hubs over the next few days.

My Career Hub
For those of you who may not be aware, we have invested in a new system designed specifically for university careers services, My Career Hub.

Students can use this system to search and apply for vacancies and book onto our events.

You can take a look at My Career Hub by logging in as a staff member using your MMU ID Number and password at
https://mycareerhub.mmu.ac.uk.
