Being Positive about Disability:

Essential insights into the recruitment process for disabled applicants.

(University Place is the round building on Oxford Road, opposite the Manchester University Student Union)

MMU students can meet at the Employability Hub, Business School Building at 1pm and travel to the venue with a Careers & Employability Consultant.

In celebration of the United Nations’ International Day of Disabled People the Careers and Employability Services from MMU and The University of Manchester are running a joint event to support students with disabilities.

This event offers a unique opportunity to:

·         Access advice from a range of disability friendly employers

·         Find out about your rights under the Equality Act

·         Get support on when and how to disclose your disability

·         Receive information on “two ticks” employers plus what reasonable adjustments you may be entitled to
