Induction
Evaluation:
Please, if you haven’t already filled in the induction
evaluation can you do so today or tomorrow.
The following link has just a few questions about your induction week and will only take you a couple of minutes to complete: https://mmu.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/induction-evaluation.
It is really useful to have your feedback so we can continually improve the induction experience for future years. You can also email me any feedback if you wish – any comments would be appreciated.

Course
Reps:
There are still a few
remaining spaces to become a course rep!
Student engagement with the university and staff is an important part of student life and we really do value any feedback course reps provide. It is a great experience and an excellent addition to your CV. You can find out more about becoming a course rep and can register at https://www.theunionmmu.org/your-voice/course-reps/.
Registration ends this week, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Please email me for more information or if you have registered already.

Attendance:
I hope you are all getting used to the scanner system and
continue to remember your card. A reminder that if you forget your card at any
session you need to inform your Lecturer at the end of the class.
They will
either take your name or ask you to email them your details.
Please note that
unless the tutor can confirm that you have spoken to them, any emails received
stating that you forgot your card may have to be dismissed.
Emails:
If you are absent for any reason please remember to email
either myself or Clare Hart (Clare.Hart@mmu.ac.uk)
so it can be added to your attendance record.
If you are emailing staff with
regards to attendance or any other matter it is important that you include your
full name and your student ID!
This makes dealing with any queries a lot
quicker but is also how we would expect a professional email to be structured.
Best wishes,
Catherine
