Managing Anger  participants need to attend all three sessions

Over 3 weeks this course will give you the opportunity to develop a good understanding of anger and the tools to manage it more effectively.

Thursdays     17th November – 1st December Room 3 - 4.30pm 1.14 Business School


Overcoming Low Mood  Participants need to be able to attend all three sessions


Learn to understand your low mood, its causes and what keeps it going.  Learn how familiar patterns of understanding and acting can maintain problems.  Start to find ways of managing and overcoming low mood.


Mondays  21st November – 5th December Room 1.14 Business School  Time 1 - 2pm

 

Managing Anxiety  Participants need to be able to attend all three sessions

Learn what anxiety is, what keeps it going for you, and how you can start to challenge your thinking and coping mechanisms in order to reduce anxiety, and ultimately manage it better.

Workshops no need booking just come along

Panic Stations 

This workshop will explore what panic is, how it affects you and what keeps it going.  It will look at ways of breaking the panic cycle.

Thursday         8th December          Time  10.30am – 12 noon

 

Emotional Freedom Technique (‘tapping’)   no need booking just come along

This workshop will show you how to use EFT, a mind/body approach that has been described as ‘psychological acupressure’.  It’s quick and easy to learn. .

Friday             25th November          Time 3 – 4pm Room 1.14 Business School

           

Overcoming Sleep Problems   no need booking just come along

Poor sleep is a common problem. Persistently disrupted sleep can leave us feeling exhausted, stressed and anxious.  The workshop aims to show how making changes in your lifestyle can help to get a better night’s rest. It will also look at how to establish a good sleeping pattern.
