Retail Financial Services is not just about the large corporate world of The City but also has a vibrant entrepreneurial culture underpinning new investor dynamics and client needs.
Festival Radio
Throughout the two days of the Festival we will have Festival Radio interviewing delegates, exhibitors and speakers to share reactions to the event and to highlight particular activities. This will add to the Festival feel for the event which we hope will be unlike all previous such events in Financial Services.
Festival Radio will be based on The Green in the centre of the massive exhibition space which will also be the entertainment hub for the event. Towards the end of the first day there will be music and performance as well as informal networking to allow delegates to relax a little before heading home or to their hotels.
Breakout Presentations
In addition to the main stage presenters that are headlining the Festival there will be four additional stages with a rolling program of 30-minute presentations on a wide range of subjects. In total there will be more than 70 presentations for delegates to choose from on a wide range of subjects:
- • Soft skills
- • Financial planning
- • Retirement planning and retirement income management
- • Asset Management strategies
- • Market updates and commentaries
- • Tax and trust planning
- • International clients
All breakouts will qualify as unstructured CPD so will provide a significant personal development opportunity for all delegates, whatever their experience.
The Future Generations Marquee
There will be an area dedicated to encouraging the next generation to come into the Financial Planning profession. Here there will be short presentations and stands from a range of organisations dedicated to encouraging and developing tomorrow’s talent:
- • Adviser firms with graduate schemes
- • CPD providers
- • Universities with linked degrees
- • Apprenticeship providers
Sponsored by The Financial Adviser School and the New Model Business Academy, this area will be a hub for delegates who are interested to bring new talent into their businesses as well as young professionals looking to build a personal career path.
