Job Description
Do you have an interest in marketing? Are you looking for a flexible job that will allow you to build up your skills and will fit around your university work?
Our recruitment marketing team is responsible for promoting KPMG, so we’re looking for a Student Brand Manager to work closely with us to strengthen the profile of KPMG as a graduate employer at your university.
The Role
Our SBMs work closely with our regional Recruitment Officers to be our eyes, ears and voice on campus. You will help us to target our recruitment activities in order to increase the number of graduate applications from your university as well as raising general KPMG brand awareness by undertaking activity such as:
* Regular progress updates with your KPMG regional recruitment officer and taking guidance on promotional activity
* Researching and recommending new, innovative ways to promote and market the KPMG Brand, career opportunities and events on campus
* Building links with specific faculties and departments.
* Word of mouth - telling peers what KPMG are doing on campus through lecture and society shout outs as well as leveraging all digital/social media channels at your disposal.
* Assisting with campus events - venue research, logistics, presenting.
* Campaign and competitor research - research, analysis and reporting.
* Direct sourcing candidates who are keen to apply for KPMG roles
Hours
This role is flexible so it can fit around your university studies and other commitments. We expect you to work around 10-15 hours in the autumn term, 5-10 hours in the spring term and 5-10 hours in the summer term.
Who we’re looking for
The KPMG Student Brand Manager role would suit a penultimate or final year undergraduate student with proven marketing experience who’s bright, extremely motivated, proactive, inquisitive and a self-starter. Ideally you should already have some knowledge of KPMG and you may be interested in pursuing a career with us upon graduation.
We’d like you to have your finger on the pulse of your university, for example; have a good awareness of the promotional channels, schools/faculties, the extracurricular activities at your university, in particular clubs and societies, and we would expect you to be an active member of one or more of these.
