Wednesday 5:
Pro Bono and Legal Careers Fair 2016 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
North Atrium, Business School, Manchester Campus
Find out the pro bono opportunities available to you as a Manchester Law School student. Meet pro bono partners – including Amicus, National Centre for Citizenship & the Law, Personal Support Unit, Slater & Gordon, Manchester CAB, Greater Manchester Law Centre, Shelter, Partners for Prisoners. Attend a number of talks covering CV & interview tips as well as pro bono work with the Personal Unit Work, pro bono legal research work and Law and Justice education.

Use LinkedIn to Kick-Start Your Career 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Room 3.12, Business School Building, Manchester
 
Whether you are an avid user or a beginner, this session will further develop your understanding and will teach you how to use LinkedIn effectively to increase your connections and link to employers.
 
Thursday 6:
I Don’t Know What I Want To Do When I Leave Uni 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Room 229, Geoffrey Manton Building, Manchester
If you have no idea on what step to take next then you aren’t the only one and this session will help you explore your options and map out your journey to your future career. It’s never too early to plan what to do next!

Teaching Information Evening – Greater Manchester Bright Future SCITT 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, Cavendish Rd, Bowdon, Altrincham, WA14 2NL
 
Opportunities for graduates to apply for Early Years, Primary and Secondary teaching with the Greater Manchester Bright Futures SCITT. The event will cover the training packages offered, bursaries and finance, application advice, qualifications needed and future prospects as well as career progression within teaching.

Considering Teaching Careers Fair  1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Geoffrey Manton Atrium, Manchester
 
Teaching is still an extremely popular choice for Manchester Met graduates and it is important that students get the full information and options available to them explained. This fair offers students the chance to get any information or advice they have about the routes into teaching and tips for writing personal statements and UCAS application forms.
All year groups and graduates welcome. Cheshire based students will be reimbursed for travel expenses.

The Big Careers Fair (Day 1) 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Manchester Central Convention Centre, Windmill St, Manchester M2 3GX
Day one is ideal for graduate jobs, student internships and placements in consultancy, HR, retail management, finance, marketing and more. Final year, postgraduates and pre-final year students will greatly benefit by learning more about careers in different sectors before starting your job search.
Manchester Met students are all welcome to attend Manchester University's Big Careers Fair! Spread across two days, the Big Careers Fair offers you the chance to make personal contact with employers for expert advice on finding your ideal career.

The Big Careers Fair (Day 2) 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Manchester Central Convention Centre, Windmill St, Manchester M2 3GX
 
Day two of the fair is for graduate jobs, student internships and placements in engineering, science and technology. All students are welcome to attend, however final year, postgraduate and pre-final year students will benefit the most.
