Free Journalism workshops
If you’re interested in a career in journalism our free, hands-on
workshops will give you a glimpse into the industry and our award-winning NCTJ
training.
Whether you’re just starting out or thinking of a career change, our
practical sessions are suitable for those looking to get into news, sport,
online or broadcast journalism.
At the news journalism workshops our editors will get you tackling a
breaking news exercise followed by a look at the day’s papers and we’ll provide
you with individual feedback on your stories.
Our practical sports journalism workshops are delivered alongside
Sportsbeat – the UK’s leading sports news agency – and involve covering live
action and press conferences.
You’ll also get to meet our journalists, editors and training team who
will answer your questions and provide careers advice.
