Guest Lecture by DELOITTE - Pete Braddock & Tom Addison, Thursday 15th March 2018, 5pm

Graduate roles in Audit and Corporate Finance – Dispelling the Myths!

A Deloitte Perspective

We are very lucky and excited to welcome Pete Braddock and Tom Addison from Deloitte, Manchester, to give you an insight into what life is like as a graduate in a big 4 firm.
Anyone considering applying for roles at large accounting firms should really come along to listen and ask questions!

We welcome Pete Braddock back from a very successful appearance last year, that went down really well with those who attended.  One year on, Pete has now been promoted to Senior Manager, and his career continues to flourish – his take on life as an auditor will surprise and inspire you, and hopefully dispel some of the usual myths that audit is somehow boring???

Pete is bringing along his colleague, Ellis Kilcoyne, who joined Deloitte as an experienced hire.  Ellis will bring a valuable perspective, as a number of you may consider taking your professional exams at smaller firms with a view to transitioning into a bigger firm further down the line.

Tom Addison, formerly of Deloitte, but now a Senior Manager at boutique consultancy firm Dow Schofield Watts, will give you a valuable take on life in Corporate Finance.  What does it involve and where will your career take you?  You may be surprised at the variety of work, the demands of the role, and the career opportunities it presents.

It promises to be a really worthwhile event; it would be great to see a good turnout from you, as we are very proud of our students and want to showcase that in front of the biggest names in the professional services industry!
