To work as part of the finance team to manage the return of
resident security deposits and the coordination of financial transactions
relating to our short stay business
Key Role Responsibilities:
As a member of CLV UK’s summer intern team, you will:
· Develop process surrounding the efficient return of residents security deposit;
· Collaborate with Operations to gather data from booking system and produce a report of all refunds (full & partial) due
· Manage the DPS online account and ensure speedy return of monies owed.
· Conduct a full audit of practices across villages to identify areas of financial risk
Write a series of recommendations for improving the process for all financial transactions relating to our short stay customers
· Engage with all users of system to ensure all understand new process
· Report on the financial performance of all aspect of our short stay business
Key Skills:
· A talented and enthusiastic individual seeking to gain an insight into the Finance and accounts function of an international student housing provider
· A clear interest in accounts and the processes and procedures involved in tracking and managing payments
· Practiced in using Excel to collect, review and manage financial data.
· A strong work ethic to ensure you are able to contribute to the overall mission of team
· Recent personal experiences of living in halls of residence as a student will be a distinct advantage.
· Ability to gather information and data which will be presented to internal and external stakeholders
· Established writing skills to articulate all business analysis and research findings
